What is the history of the chef's uniform that has become the standard apparel? - chef uniforms
I ask because I asked my teacher before culinary chef uniform and how it happened, but apparently they do not know the answer. Now many people recognize the uniform of a chef, especially the hospitality industry, such as tap, double-cross and white jacket, checked trousers and black and white.

I am a sous chef at a Marriott hotel and would be interested in how the uniform was too much. I believe it is in French tradition, which probably would be a good place to look in the history of creation.
