Which Paper Towel Is The Strongest How Could I Test Which Paper Towel Brand Is The Strongest?

How could I test which paper towel brand is the strongest? - which paper towel is the strongest

I'm doing a Science Fair project in which I speculated that the steps of the scientific method to show, is to argue the question "Which brand of paper towel is the most liquid" .. How can I prove?

Get a graduated cylinder. Maybe you can borrow one for a science teacher. To measure the exact amount of water, eg 100 ml Pour into a glass. Fold a paper towel in a small space. Put the water into the bowl. Let him stay one or two minutes, then that is completely saturated. Do not spill in the cup, you take care and let it drip into the cup until it stops just drop it. Carefully pour the water into the cup back into the cylinder (a funnel) will help. Measure the volume of water that are not absorbed by the paper towel and pull the original volume by volume has been absorbed. This does not really measure what kind of towel is "stronger". Measurement, which is the absorbent, which seems to be what you want.

It can also be done by weighing each tissue before and after immersion, but why do we need an accurate gram electronic scale that would probably be rather difficult to Ahold by a graduated cylinder. The mass of water absorbed cOuld converted directly into volume of 1 ml weighs 1 gram of water.
