Did you know about the "Plastic Sea," aka the "Great Pacific Garbage Patch?" ? - pacific science center coupon discount

It is an area in the ocean, where plastic waste have accumulated from different continents.

It's like a lake, the path of the currents are often the cause of waste and branches in certain regions. Except in very large scale. The currents of the Pacific in order to make a wide berth, and now the center is a big part of our waste.

Toothbrush Find pens, lighters, empty, action figures, including children, to California, Japan, who knows where have flown.

The albatrosses on the islands there are (on the same island where the battle was led by Midway), sometimes I think that the plastic their young, which of course killed.

What can we do about this problem? What impact do you see in the future, especially if the "patch" is bigger?

They had a fairly detailed report about this a few months ago in Discover magazine. Personally I do not think that's a big problem, dolphins and baby birds to die, do not rank very high on the list of international problems, but once more it could be a wider impact.

The real problem is that even I could do something? The size of it is, it is very likely just type. After the Algalita Marine Research Foundation, the only solution is to stop more waste into the sea, it is fruitless to try to clean everything now exists. "

Algalita, I think the most important city is working on this issue, so if you what you can do to help you, you try to contact them interested in:

Unfortunately Nia should not change these things in the near future. An Albatross at Midway is far from a stay in Tokyo, Los Angeles, Sydney and the people have a good opportunity for the implementation of the spirit from the view from above of the.

People are greedy, selfish and lazy in nature and as such it is unlikely, on balance, I do a lot of care, or something, if the inconvenience in any way. I'm not saying this applies to all, because it paople clearly is important to me. You and I are two of them, but humanity as a whole leaves much to be desired.

I think the answer to the problems of our throwaway society, the inherent qualities of the man I mentioned that people use to pay. The speech is here in Australia on pay 10 cents for plastic bags in shops. What nonsense, I say. Get paid $ 2 per bag. Environment Hession green bag is a necessity for all.

Do not smoke. No need then lighters.

Only when the people to take action for damages, which forced his pocket wiHe must do something. For the record, I do not use plastic bags over 10 years. All the food they buy is fresh. I do not use Binlin plastic. If anything, I bought a plastic is not recycled, I'll use as a tray. All foodscraps are in my "set Bi and are recycled all the paper.'s Hard to go, not a bit, when everything is green, ITM, the world would be much beter for him.

What about billions of tons of wastewater that all cities pumps in the oceans and lakes are year after year without question. Remember that three or four times a day, businesses bathroom sinks, showers, large and small restaurants, from year to year, all irrigation, drainage and drainage, chemicals, fats, oils and acids and poison, and well, and barges solid waste in the middle of the ocean and tossed every year, there goes the main coastal towns and cities across the lake and the list yet, year after year in the world, the world has become a garbage dump and Hugh do not understand why it to the moon and want to go Mars

No, but I thank you for lighting, WOW your information.
I would like a feasibility study on this idea, as if someone has the ability. A fleet of trawlers, which would be a kind of boat fishing, relax with a system of peer network range of vessels to the devices and put make up on sale to the recycling of raw materials for the costs, borne primarily by industry PR funds are to protect the environment and the fate of the community to promote the fishing has almost disappeared, is better than you catch fish!
Please show so much trouble, if it was possible:)

I have not heard of it. I must say that it is very alarming. Thank you for attention to this problem. I think everyone needs to really see, how much they consume. I saw on TV today that the average American uses 6 paper napkins a day. If everyone used a less napkin a day, we could save a ton of paper. In addition, deforestation is the second leading cause of climate change. I use paper towels at work all the time. So now my new every morning, is now at work, I have 5 napkins at my desk and make sure that they do not use more.
