I recently discovered, through old photos of U.S. cities in www.art.com. Perform a search for several cities and see what happens. The city is large or small. The images are sold at a price of $ 19.95, but it's fun to just watch and see the old buildings and townscape.
Era images are mixed with those of today. What we need is that the images are horizontal. They're all the same size. Even if they are painted, dyed by hand. Someone took photos of a building or a road, then with oil or other means to color images.
These images are likely to be created in the years 1920 to 1950. I have several photos of my city, 47,000 inhabitants. There were pictures of our park, drive-in restaurant and our downtown.
